![]() It's crappy everywhere on the west. Oh well, them are the breaks. Had a SWA voucher expiring this weekend so it was either a bad week, or no trip at all. Doing a food and beer tour of Seattle anyway, so it won't be too bad. If this was strictly a boarding trip yeah I'd be pissed. Hell, two years ago we went to Tahoe in January and it snowed all December, and all Feb. Nothing in January. I mean, it was dry for 3 weeks at least. But we still had fun. |

It could still be fun...sunny and warm according to this
NOAA National Weather Service Anyway it would be a good day to get on your goggle tan and as for being a tourist you would be able to actually see something and where ur going (kind of rare for around here and it is a gorgeous little hill). Really it might not be a bad day and in the sunny aspects would soften up about 11am and be perfect for beginners.

Report from the hill, there is apparently a temp inversion going on up there and should last abit. Really temp inverts are fun and there is plenty of base....last year I got great spring soft serve in Jan with an invert....it was the only spring riding I got.

NOAA is calling for a high around 41-42 at Stevens through the weekend. Just FYI, a lot of the front side is shaded by Cowboy Ridge so it might not be best conditions in the front (if that's where you head). The backside should be prime spring conditions though once it warms up, lots of sun back there.

I just did 2 days at Bachelor and 1 day at Hood this week. Same temp inversion everywhere in the NW. Basically warm Spring conditions in the sun, especially when it warms up a bit. Sunscreen and T-Shirts basically. Stay out of the shade though...serious sheets of chicken head ice.

Went to Crystal on Friday, and it was pretty firm. Not too bad, but not great either. It was a little cold and windy, especially on top and in the back.
Stevens on Saturday, and it was definitely spring like. Kind of nice actually. Either way, had a great time despite no snow. |
