I figured we could have one single thread for everyone to post their short daily trip reports that don't quite warrant their own thread. I'll kick it off.....
Made a quick trip up to Stevens yesterday for a morning session before having to head back to town for a wedding. Inbounds was pretty chewed up, so my buddy and I did a few sidecountry laps looking for some pow. Found a few spots worth hiking to, but it's pretty apparent the temp got pretty warm last week. Heavy snow with a thin breakable on top in some places. Anyway, here's a couple pics of a quick hike out to lower Rooster. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hmm I guess this thread really didn't take off. Maybe another bump? Figured I'd be nice to get everyone's input on current conditions in the area in one thread....
Hit Stevens yesterday. Wasn't expecting much, but happened to find 7" from the past 24 hours. Pretty low moisture content snow, but a bad rain/sun crust underneath. Lapped the area between Shims and Tye Bowl for awhile, good stuff in there. More snow coming Thursday/Friday! |

I'm heading up to Alpy tomorrow. It's supposed to be mostly bluebird. I'll probably hit up West or Central on Friday night, since the snow looks to be plentiful. As for a TR, I went last week, and the snow was alright. Pretty firm, but still fun. The week before was awesome though. Had some freshies to play in.
