That by far is the best deal, i mean an all day mountain pass is 55 bucks alone...with the 3 days of rentals + classes its a real steal...
Totally true. If you price it out this is a real value and a great way to get started in the sport. The days you go up do not have to be consecutive. Try and pick sunny weather if possible and it will make learning more enjoyable for you.

Last time i saw a pretty large group of several hundred Oregonians boarding at Meadows!

On a more serious note, Snowolf can you comment on how the 3 for pass works? Its not 3 continuous days is it? I have a few friends that want to learn and I plan to take up but if its 3 straight days it wont work, due to us all having weekday jobs Im hoping they can use those 3 days whenever.

Whenever I go I don't mind riding with people. It's more fun with more people. In fact the last run of the year was with snowwolf and I met him on this forum along with 2 guys from Florida of all places.

We had a group of 5 at T-line and it was a blast (Thanks again snow).

So if you guys are going up to the mountain by yourself and I'm there too we can meet up and ride together. I'll be up there friday at T-line or Meadows. Depends on what I see on friday morning.

Thanks for the great reply. I just got back from Mexico, and holy crap, what happened to Oregon?! That global warming is just plain out of control, haha!

I think I will probably have to try out that package deal. I am sure that taking a few hours of lessons will pay off in the long run!

Now if only the roads clear up enough to get there!

Yeah, I've been sacrificing skiers to Ullr, but I think I may have set fire to one too many. I might have pissed him off. Enjoy!

What about good ol' Bachey?? I was stoked to see an Oregon thread but no one has mentioned my mountain yet. yeah it's mine, so what! Mt. Bachelor is pretty spendy but it's a super fun place to ride!

I've lived in Oregon my whole life. I've had the pleasure of hitting Hoodoo, Bachelor, Meadows & Timberline. I grew up living smack in the middle of all of 'em. Started riding about 10 years ago and don't think I'll ever get enough of it! scratch that, I WILL NEVER get enough!

I got into a nasty car accident a few years ago that kept me on the sidelines for a season, then was too poor to go, then had a baby, ect. so I was out of the sport for about 4 years. I just picked it back up this year and was stoked when I found out my best friend got a board for Christmas so we could hit the slopes together!

Now I live about 20 minutes away from Bachelor. It's beautiful here, great places to hike and ride just beyond my backyard. My husband is addicted to snowmobiling so this is the perfect place for us! Our daughter is 1 1/2 and I'm sure next season we'll be fighting over who gets to take her out. I'm saying right now, she's going to be a boarder darn it! But I've seen the way he looks at the guys on the snowmobiles with their little ones riding along, so we'll see

So, anyone else out there ride Bachelor or even Hoodoo? I've only heard talk of Timberline & Meadows and right now that's a little far to drive for me.

I really want to visit Bend and hit up Bachelor. But I can't leave my dog alone and he hates everyone so no one will watch him. Hood is as far as I can go.

Since you are living in Central Oregon I'm curious, what are your feelings towards POWDR Corp?
