They're opening early for tomorrow only! Only selling 51 tickets and they're only $15 a piece :yahoo:

Super early season conditions but I'm going to see if I can snag a ticket. Yeeeeew!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

My guess would be no, don't they stop you guys from riding during late season operations and force ya to buy the spring pass?

Fuck I hope I get a ticket!! I have literally $30 in my bank account and a full tank of gas right now and will most likely have to starve till this Friday if I do get one and somehow I am totally at peace with that.

Thanks brotha! I couldn't get the ticket page to load either, I just happened to go to their FB page right as they posted that.

That's not a bad deal though, still kind of annoying that they'd cut you off mid season but I get the logic behind locking people in for another year.

Stevens did the same thing a few years ago when they attempted to offer spring/summer skiing. Unfortunately stevens had a fine print error and there was an uproar by pass holders being forced to buy a spring pass and they ended up refunding a bunch of money running the spring operation at a huge loss. And that was the end of stevens spring skiing.

I'm still holding out that in the next year, or two the owners of stevens will consolidate the resort management and we'll get a 3 mt pass with stevens, crystal and Snoqualmie.

You'd think that since the same company owns them all it would be a no-brainer. The problem I see is that they want to capitalize income while they're still building up all three resorts, thus all three having their own passes. I'd say in the next 5-10 years is more likely than the next 1-2 years. I'd love for them to prove me wrong though.

I remember that spring pass shenanigan, lucky for me I was busy getting ACL/meniscus surgery so I wasn't too as upset as I would have normally been. That would be insane if they made a multi pass like that, although I know they already have the pass that Ski Washington people get that's good at ALL resorts in Washington.

So really all you need to do is blow one of the higher ups in the Ski WA operation and you're good to go.

The mgmt. company at stevens had a preexisting contract and the new owners agreed/decided to honor that. Once that expires I can't imagine they won't bring in Boyne. The bigger issue may be the inability to develop lodging in that area, puts a major cap on (financial) growth potential.

Didn't have a split, but luckily didn't need one. Did one hike back up green valley and then took a run with some crystal locs down to nearly the bottom. Only had about a 7 minute hike to the gondola again but it took some maneuvering. Blew out an edge on my rock board and got a few core shots, but hey that's what a rock board is for aye?

I was actually was first in line and Chadwick the local snaked me when I went to grab my ticket. I do get to claim first civilian gondola, and got to ride completely untracked pow linesf all day long so I'm not complaining :D
