Default What some of you guys do in the summer that keeps your snowboarding skills up.

Hey guys winter is nearing its end were I live and I am just wondering what some of you guys in the off season (summer months) that kinda keep up your snowboarding skills. I know alot of people fish, and bike, and hike , and stuff like that. I enjoy fishing and walking around the lakes in the summer time as well. But I am wondering if and what you guys do that kinda keeps up your snowboarding skills so that when the snow falls it is not like riding a bike and you need some time to get back into your snowboarding legs and skills so to speak. Just wondering what you guys do to fill that snowboarding void in the winter time with snowboarding like sports.
Thank you guys and enjoy the last of winter before its done.

I make a full switch over to my motorcycles until the first hints of snow begin again. It's not much of a benefit to my snowboard skills...it's just my other season passion.

When I'm old and made of money, that's what I plan to be doing in summer. Not being able to snowboard is pretty agonizing and I think wakeboarding would be a good fix.

As it is, I still fence (indoor sport, lol) and bike a lot (for transportation). This doesn't exactly complement my snowboarding skills... I think I'll also be getting a balance board trainer thingy before too long.

Roller Ballet and Lawn Darts. Occasionally a swell game of Polo.

Actually I train for trail ultras in the summer.

I fuck fat chicks. All that heavy lifting keeps my core and quads in shape. The fatter the better.

Not so,... Biking's good for your legs, which is good for your boarding!

...and don't buy a balance board. They're expensive. I made a couple of them for under $25-$30 ea. Cheapest I saw online was around $80-$90!

Here they are,.. (Square/rectangular one's easiest to make with minimal tools!)
