Hyperlite Roam - Snowboarding Forum

Have any of you guys tried this board out? I can get a little deal on it so I might pick one up this year.

I've got the roam. It's a fun board to ride. As you know it doesn't have fins or channels so it's definatly squirly. You do learn edge control with this board. Get it to have fun and play around on, don't get it to charge the wake and do huge airs. It's awesome for flat water tricks.

I strictly only wakeskated the last 3 seasons and I wakeskate without fins so that won't be a problem. I think I'm going to make a 16' box and start jibbing again so I think this board will be sick.

You will dig it! I like to describe the Roam as a wakeboard that rides like a snowboard. I really enjoy riding mine.

The first year the roam came out that is how hyperlite described it also. I can get a good price on it but bindings are so fucking expensive these days. I'll just have to beat a kid up for a pair.

Ive got one and I love it. It rides just like snowboarding behind a snowmobile. Its awesome. Grat for goofing off on flatwater days. Kinda fun when the watters reall choppy too. Kinda like a bull ride to see just how long you can stay on.
