I am just getting into wakeboarding and I am looking for some good value bindings. I want some stiffer, comfy bindings that will follow as I progress. I have the Burton customs in mind, as far as feel and quality, just a simple functional binding that will not limit my riding or break the bank (~$150). The price will be split 2 ways so if it is really worth the value bindings up to maybe $250-300 may be debated.
I will also be sharing them with a friend so open toes would be great that fit both a 10.5 and a 12. They will be going on a top end hyperlite that my friend already owns if that makes a difference.
Thanks for any and all suggestions
For under $150, your gonna have a tough time finding quality bindings. I have a pair of Liquid Force transits that are a medium flex i picked up on Evo for a little under $200. If you're looking for something like snowboard bindings, I've heard good things about Hyperlite's system bindings.
If you're considering Liquid Force, this should help you:

Look in Evo's outlet, they always have good deals running there:

Also, your riding style has an impact on the flex of your bindings too. My homie (who's regional for Liquid Force) rides a soft binding on cable for tweaking and pressing, while he rides a medium flex binding for boar for support.
~$250. Can you recommend a few specific models from there?
The transits are good open toes. Ronix has a good OT option to, can't recall the name.
Do you plan on riding cable? Laces can get old fast at a cable park.
I've got these guys, but am mostly a casual wakeboarder (i.e. lucky if i get out 5 times a year)

I hate the hinge tech on a snowboard but love it on these bindings. I reckon they fit the bill of what you are after. Quite comfortable too.
EDIT: Here last years are on sale for $149 http://www.thecwbstore.com/products/...rd-Boots-2013/
