holysht! that park is gonna be frikkn sweet it looks like...is it Dreamland doing the construction? thats who built ours, has that look

i had a 3-5 year break from really skating that much, then i saw them building the park here, got stoked, got new gear and got back into it...so fun, i don't really think of it like exercise, but it is the only 'exercise' type thing that i find to be any fun (fuk biking, running...yawn!), it'll keep you sharp when riding season comes back too! so much harder in all ways.

how far from portland downtown is this?

It's Grindline out of Seattle doing the build. As for distance from Portland proper, about 3 to 3 and a half hours depending on traffic and such. Amtrak goes to Tacoma though, and from there, it's about 40 minutes in a car, if that.

Oh yeah!? Well, my mom says I'm cool!

One of these days I'm gonna find someone close to me with a freebord who will let me try it out. They look like so much fun. Until then I'll continue to ride my longboard, and my short board, and my BMX. And of course the occasional trip for some summer snow.

Oh yeah!? Well, my mom says I'm cool!
