used to skate when i was younger, now im 6'5" 230 and just really awkward on a board. would love to get back into it though. i was skating today with my friends but the board was just way too narrow for my big ass feet. maybe ill buy a board and relearn some stuff this summer

I enjoy narrow boards even though I have size 11 shoes.

I was bustin out heelflips like they were nothing today, and a front foot impossible? I approached it like a kickflip but wrapped my foot in when it got to the front trucks, wrapped around my foot pretty good. No idea what its called but its sick

I rode for a fair while a couple of years back, mainly freestyle and flatland tricks though, not to much into park.
I wasn't particularly great at it, just cruising around, and popping truckstands and stuff around.

Pretty much the only flatland trick i could never even get near to completing was the kickflip... heelflips, 360 flips etc were ok, but the kickflip tormented me for many a long night...

Yeah, that's it... and to this day still one of the greatest tricks ever if the board actually wraps the foot!

of the hundreds or thousands of times Ive tried this trick Ive only landed it twice. Its a kickflip to frontflip impossible.

I was just messin around in the park doin kickflips about 3 years ago when I decide to see what happens when I literally soccer style kick the board during kickflip roto. it wrapped around my foot came down on the wheels with my front foot on the board. Then i new what my mission was, I had to land it, still, it was an awesome trick and I think im gonna keep tryin it

Sounds like it would translate into something similar to a 360 hardflip....? Am I getting the right image?

Or are you saying that you did the kickflip first, then kicked the board around after the full kickflip? That sounds like you need hella pop if so...

Id spin it around after a kickflip, but with how fast I rotate the board it doesnt take too much of a pop. I cant ollie much higher than two maybe 3 decks on an exceptional ollie. Its just I physically kicked the board, its a very ackward motion but its real fun
