Yep I tried it, it was okay. I prefer a DH bike for ripping down mountain trails. I feel in control a lot more on a DH bike than on a mountain board.

I just started this season. Its alot more "getting thrown around" than on a snowboard, but man is it fast. Steering response is so much harsher than on snow so you wind up straight down alot more. Its worth a look if you can find one cheap enough on craigslist. Just invest in some good knee elbow and wrist guards. Easily my new favorite off season sport.

yeah, its so fast, and ud be an idiot if you didnt have any padding mountainboard unless ur on grass, i guess, id still wear pads. but luckily my mountainboard has the breaks built in to rope that you hold so i slide sideways, lean back and squeeze the breaks, its alot funner if you mountainboard on small hills with jumps, because it gets really scary flying down a hill on a mountainboard since dirt is so much less forgiving then snow and things arent nearly as smooth
