i tried to be there, but i couldn't find any tickets or anyone who wanted to drive down to detroit with me

this season was freaking awesome for me.

twas the first time i had managed to watch every single game in a season

twas the first time i had finally managed to see a NHL game in person

twas the first time in 17 years i got to watch the cup being passed around by the good guys

tis the start of a dynastic club, to rival that of the Oilers in the 80s (*fingers crossed jinx aversion)

WOOO HOOOO PENS!!!

I don't know about full on dynasty, but I expect them to hoist the cup a few more times before this crew is done.
