i wakeboarded for the first time this weekend. it is nothing like snowboarding. at all. it was difficult to get up then once i did i had no clue what to do and crashed out. ill learn some more in a few weeks.

I've tried waterskiing, but the in-laws boat broke down before I got to try wakeboarding.

I was hoping it would be similar to snowboarding since I sucked hard at waterskiing.

I think wakeboarding is much harder then snowboarding. Getting up is the hardest part, after that, just practice and keep on practicing. Plus I think you use so much more upper body.

My 9 year old learned Memorial weekend to wakeboard, she was up in like 5 tries. Her problem once going though was she wanted to try to go heal side which she favors when snowboarding. So in many ways it is easier to know how to wakeboard before learning to snowboard.

I suck at both wakeboarding and snowboarding but I love to try to get better at both sports.
