Mystic, riding in the dark sure adds some more adrenalin into it but I'm never doing it again after seeing one guy's face after a crash in the dark.

I've done a DH trail in the almost dark a few times when we've stayed out too late. It can be a little freaky if you don't know the trail well because subtle drops on the trail can really throw you off. Not a good feeling when both tires are unexpectedly no longer touching the dirt

i am a purist and like to ride up anything I ride down. That does not mean I cannot enjoy a lift ride here and there. I do not like the huge/heavy suspension IMO.

I love chair lift ridding but I also love trail ridding. Nothing beats a good 20 mile XC ride in the AM followed by an afternoon lapping the pike park though.

My Gambler is looking lonely and depressed lately, it's funny how in the middle of winter I mis riding my DH rig and the middle of summer I miss riding powder. A few more weeks and the lower elevated trails should be good to go.

Man, the Internet sounds like a tuff place to ride.
