starting construction on summer jib hill.

I am aching to do some jibs lately... freebording has done me good most of this summer but its time to strap in I am afraid. I think I am gonna build me a little jib section out of plywood/outdoor carpet this coming week... maybe as soon as this week!

Hoping to have a small flat section 4'x4' for a starting section, a 4'x6'long section as my first hill, a 4'x4' flat section to prepare for my rail, a 4'x8' section with a rail in the center (or small box) then just some carpet overhanging for runoff.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

My 15 yr old daughter and her buds were jibbing in the neighborhood park last week; couldn't get a truck load of snow from the rink cause the zamboni was running....So they used a couple buckets sawdust on the grass...said it worked great and they thought that having carpet with sawdust would work even better. Report back.

Ah...that will be 1 mahogany 69 thinline fender telecaster guitar body on your cnc router please...you can keep the sawdust

try just laying a run of carpet on some stairs, ollie on to a rail or cut-in-half corragated 14" plastic tube for some boardslides

I was just thinking you really never have any reason to ride past the box or rail so im going to build one and just place padded mats on the sides of the rail so if I eat it there are no worries. haha
