learned freeboarding last night and its killer! gotta hit the steep stuff, and it feels like snowboarding, LOVE it haha.

anyone ride!?

are they hard to ride and how much do they typically cost i think they look sick
also do they have straps for your feet?

I am really interested in trying this, but not so stoked on bailing on cement, when I was a teenager I didn't mind spilling on pavement, but 2 broken wrists later and a decade later I am not crazy about it. Do freeboards get caught on small rocks and throw the rider?

You can adjust how high the wheels come up which will affect the likelyhood of catching. Higher wheels will make for less response but a more forgiving ride.

Not familiar with a freeboard setup, but is that just adjusting the truck stiffness?

as a noob freeboarding, i didnt catch any rocks. just watch your edges, just like snowboarding. except all i did was edge SUPER hard cause last thing i wanted was to catch heelside and introduce the back of my head to pavement!

im riding on the second to highest setting for the middle wheel. Should i go up, or down as i get better??

its adjusting the height of the middle wheel. if you google freeboard and look at the pics, youll know what we mean! the trucks dont sit flat, only one of the 2 main wheels touch the ground.
