Nice deal! Looks like you'll even be more dedicated to guitar playing after your purchase. I just bought my first ever acoustic guitar a month or so ago and I'm struggling to learn it (sigh). Love the sound of it though. Now I'm thinking of selling it on Craigslist, kinda losing the motivation.. ah.

The acoustic I have is a Jasmine by Takamine. I think the neck is too wide, so learning A and then going to G is a bit hard. Dude, I swear.. it's like my fingers are not long enough to cover all the strings or.. chords
Spontaneous buy, haha. The guy who sold me the guitar was this old dude who plays bass in a local band. He was very helpful about it, he said any time someone is eager to learn how to play the guitar, he's more than happy and willing to help them out. It was nice meeting someone who wanted to promote or share their hobby. Oh BTW, do you have any tips on maintaining the acoustic? Specifically, do you really *need* to keep it in a humidified room? I'm wondering if it's okay to just store it in my room, nothing fancy with regards to room climate compared to what I've seen in some guitar stores. |

About the storage the only thing ive ever had problems with in storing a guitar without playing it is the strings rust. But if you buy elixir strings their coated and on an acoustic that fixes the rust issue. But that seagull is a great acoustic guitar. I have an alvarez yari and thats all i play. Not a big electric fan. The strings on an acoustic are tighter and I just like the feedback better. Anyway just kinda had to coment on this one haha.

I used to have a warwick thumb bass neck through design, one of the sexiest and best sounding basses money can buy. I miss it a lot lol.
