Hey all ive been thinking about picking up a longboard for some general cruising around town. I just want something stable and easy to ride, nothing fancy, and on the cheaper side. I have no idea if this is possible but under $150 would be preferable, but i dont want something thats gonna fall apart on me so if i have to spend more for something decent i will. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good setup?? Any help at all is appreciated im totally clueless

I was thinking about doing the same thing to get a jump up on my friends who've been snowboarding longer than me.
I want to do some longboarding and skateboarding, wakeboard while i stay at my friends house on a lake for 2 weeks, and maybe pick up some surfing and definitely skim boarding when I am at the beech with my cousins who surf. I really don't know if these boards are good but if you go to WhiskeyMilitia.com they regularly put up new deals back to back and you can snag a longboard for 60-80 bucks on huge discount |

For your price range i'd say check out last years models of Never Summer boards. Also EarthWing, BC Longboards, Bustin, and Kracked Skulls all make great affordable boards!
I have last year's Never Summer Assualt and Loaded Dervish and love them both! Might i recommend the EarthWing supermodel or superglider, or even my next board, the BC Moray!!! Last edited by BoulderEagle; 04-16-2010 at 11:30 AM. |

Does never summer make good longboard decks...or just mediocre-decent?
