help with wakeboarding?

i've seen a lot of people say they wakeboard so if you guys could help me that would be great. I really wanna wakeboard this summer and was wondering if anyone could help me since I have no idea what size I should get, what brands are good and which to stay away from, how much a board and bindings should cost, where I should get a board, and other basic info i should know.

My friend has a boat and I have a waverunner so i think one way or another we can get a tow. I'm 6'0 and 150 lbs. The only places in toledo, ohio that have skimboards that i could find are gander mountain and bass pro shop so i will probably be getting a setup there for like $190 i think. is that a good price? thanks in advance for any help you can give

I suggest what I always suggest when your new to a sport....

get a good solid mellow board until you get the feel for it...don't spend a ton until you know what your looking for as far as response....

looks like bass pro shop is the only place around that carries wakeboards so we are probably gonna head out there and pick one up. we deffinately don't wanna spend too much on the first board like you said
