Does anyone here play hacky sack and have you seen it improve your snowboarding as far a eye-foot coordination goes? (I'm thinking it would help jibbers the most trying to grind skinny round rails)
Since i don't skate as much anymore i was thinking of some activities to do that can help me get better at shredding so i thought I'd give hacky a try. |

Personally i don't see how much it could help because (at least to me) i don't see how the two are related. But hacky sack as a substitute for skating isn't close to as good, as it really only focuses on one small thing

Other than slightly improving your balance (which you probably already have due to your past skating experience) I don't think it will do too much (for snowboarding).
I'd get a balance board or something like that, try to jump/reverse jump and land back on it. In terms of improving eye-foot coordination, I'd put hacky sack in the same category as dance dance revolution lol. |
