Obviously, your location states HOOD, but it would be more like a grainy, icey, salt infused slushy mixture no? thanks for pointing that out

A lot of us stick to riding on snow in the summer myself included that is not the point though lol.....

oh and anyone else that feels the need to point out they live in an area where they can snowboard during the off-season there are threads for that.

Let's try and focus here and stick to the topic

Ouch, $860.00 summer season pass? Schweitzer, my mountain has 2900 acres and I picked up my 10/11 winter pass for $200.00. I also get free access to the lift during the summer with my pass, which makes downhill mountain biking the best thing ever.

yea but you still don't get to ride in August. The pass is steep but its limited terrain so they want people on the mountain that really want it.

lol I was just ranting Sno hahah ANY snow in the summer is good snow.

But now those mtn. boards are definitely one of the best investments you can make in your life. IMO that is the only snowboard alternative I would buy, but I love keeping up with all the new inventions in our sport. It's inspiring to see all the new ideas and toys b/c it means we are always progressing.

But like I said I think its the MTN Board FTW....I mean the two wheeled version I haven't tried but I have ridden the flowboard, freeboard, and mtn board and I honestly think that nothing more practical or more user friendly will surface for a while
