So what outdoorsy activities did you do this Summer? - Snowboarding Forum

As all of us in the Western hemisphere are switching gears and getting stoked for Snow, I figured we could recap what kind of outdoorsy shit we all got into this past Summer.

I only went camping once, surfing once, and outdoor go-karting once. Yet another year where I didn't get a chance to go paintballing or hiking. I basically spent my summer doing a shitload of DH and FR mountain biking, built up 4 bikes, and played in the dirt as much as possible.

How bout you guys/gals?

2 great camping trips, tennis, and swimming mostly.

My aunt is psycho about geocaching, she has something like 5,000 finds, (I could absolutely care less about it).

Downhill mountain biking, swimming, Road biking, hiking. Mostly spent way to much time working on my house to finish and refinance it. Once it's refinanced, (Bought it when it was framing and plywood, now it's a trick custom home) I get to be a ski bum until Spring Semester starts. For that matter, I plan on being a ski bum as much as possible during the Spring Semester.

Helps to live 20 minutes from the resort

I spent it skateboarding, longboarding, golfing, swimming, grilling, hiking and camping. Also can't forget all the days spent at the park to appease my daughter.

In no particular order, camping, wakeboarding, mountain biking, drinking, and grilling. It was kind of a lame summer compared to last year. The weather was crappy for a lot of weekends around here, either windy or rainy, niether good for riding wake. Last year I probably had close to 100 days of riding, this year, maybe 20.

miles upon miles of pounding the pavement. NYC Marathon on Nov. 7th. First one and I am extremely excited and nervous.

Looks like a good summer snowolf. I got to go chill in Lake Powell and wakeboard for about three weeks total. good time for sure.
