I've got a Trek 4300 that I converted to 1x9 and then single speed. I'll post a pic later.

What is up with all the hipsters and their single-speed bikes with no breaks? It's really cute until you have to pedal up a steep hill, and then on the other side of the hill theres a stop light, and it's red.

Maybe it's better that way, they will all get hit by cars and Darwinism will prove true

I threw a couple bottles of octane booster in my tank and it wouldn't turn on afterwards. i found out later that it was really NOS "Energy Drink".

Stock image of my bike. pretty much stock right now except for some clip in pedals and a bash guard (not yet installed). my plan is to turn it into a 1x9 before the season gets really rolling.
