As for on trail rivalries? Around here it's more MTB's vs equestrians! MTB's and roadies don't use the same trails so don't see why there would be any discord amongst them.

...But, a great many of the parks here share trails with horses. The trouble arrises out of skittish horses (...and their riders) being surpirized and frightened by the bikes.

The MTB-roadie rivalry is settled during Cyclocross season

I haven't has issues with horses on the trails

It means he built a BMX bike himself rather than going to Walmart and picking up something from the shelf.

If it's not? Well, maybe give him enough time to learn how to fit in with all the characters around here. (...although it's certainly been a rough start so far!) I'd just hate to see this thread derailed with 20+ pages of DC's patented slow season nonsense!

I've often thought about sticking my GP on the dash of my rig for work. Just for the same reasons,.. Those Idiots on the road who on a daily basis keep attempting to use my truck to commit suicide on/under/with. The reality is, it is a lot of inconvenience for me to always remember to keep it in my work bag, have fully charged, deal with dl'ing or purge the days recordings off the memory card, mount, unmount it, etc. etc. etc!!

Of course, it would definitely be worth it and justify all the hassle the one time it clears me of someone elses stupidity. (...just remember, it cuts both ways. You will have a record the first time you make a mistake as well!)

Haha! At the rate asshole drivers are going, I would rather it catch my mistakes than not have it in case someone decides to try and run me over with their car!!

Lol! Yeah! Hence, my preference for trail over road riding! I have yet to have a tree turn left in front of me. (...although there have been a few deer to do so. And once a flock of turkeys!)
