This happens to me at least once per week when commuting by bike to work. And I just bought a GoPro handlebar/seat post mount. I'm going to try it out. It'll more than likely be a hassle bringing it every day. But, it might actually make for a cool video, who knows.

Singlespeed World Championship 2014 coming to town this weekend, so the old Surly is back to mountainbike mode.
Don't know why picture isn't showing. But here is the link to Flickr

Lewis river trail today in southern Washington state. Thought I was going to die in some spots! Beautiful terrain though.

Hey Argo!
Thanks again for posting more Great, Mountain Bikey Scenic Awesomeness!!!

It appears you're having a terrific summer! (...no mid summer, split / hikey, shred stash goodness this year?). I was looking forward to a few jealous hatred inducing, vicarious living, bluebird, summer corn runs to drool over as well!

Last summer you had us "Haters" Hatin' wellll into july/aug! Lol!

-edit-
BTW,… I REALLY like that pano image! Next time,.. try to spot light the bike. Either with a little natural light or flash. It will really make the image PoP!

The dog's surgery eliminated my idea of buying a new bike this year. I still have my little dirt jumper to tool around on, but can't really trail ride with it. A couple of miles is about all you can manage on it before you start hating it. The geometry is just all wrong for pedaling. Luckily I have a couple of fun areas right by the house. Next season...

It's almost insane what they charge for pet surgery, isn't it??!!! ...not that any of us wouldn't pay all of it and more. Especially if they come thru it as your big fella has!

Hopefully you & he can get out and enjoy the fun little, mellow trail rides!

So happy for you man! Seriously! I hope you get many more years with him!! (...I'm still really missing my girl!)

Fortunately for us, the surgery actually came in below the estimate. Still wasn't cheap, but it was less than what we had planned on spending. Ironically, it was roughly what I was planning to spend on a new mountain bike.

Oh well, like I said, next season. I'd much rather have my dog around than a new bike.

Here's one by the salmon river in Oregon. I will ride my board later in July. I went earlier in June and I'll get august September also. Having fun biking now though....

The lewis river trail had some spots that were cliff side and on a single track just wide enough to get your handle bars through. This is snot on the lower part of the switch back where I had enough space to stop. There is a couple hundred foot drop off to my right. That cliff was the drop off from the upper section. I am not great going up and also just started wearing clip in shoes.... I didn't die
