So I finally tried downhill mountian biking last weekend at COP (small hill near Calgary). Just tried easy runs for some exercise... It was a blast! Not going out to blow thousands on a new bike just yet, I'm fine with my old 1999 full suspension bike. Main thing was had a blast!

pout, I think we are having some server issues. There are a few threads acting all wonky today. Looking at getting some help now.

Went for a rip today after dinner to de-stress after my car tried to commit suicide, and then having someone try and steal my bike. The river valley around my place is AMAZING.

I also got called a bitch today for yelling, "ON YOUR LEFT" when this family was doing this whole 4 wide thing, even after this guys wife was yelling, "HONEY, ON YOUR LEFT." What part of "share the trail" do people not get??

I'm also in the market for shin guards after getting ripped to shreds by brambles and crap. Can I get away with whatever cheapo stuff?

I also got the bike fine tuned after ass hat tried to steal my bike by cutting the brake line (don't ask), and hooollyyy poop, what a world of difference!! I don't have a clue what little things man friend did, but whatever magic he used, is amaaazzziinnggg. I'm definitely going to pester him more about this the next time I see him.

Here's a preview for next weekends ride. Just hiked the uphill first piece of it and it's not too bad.

Have a small group doing the monarch crest ride in two weeks if anyone is interested in joining.

Still riding Bowmans to Vail this Saturday too. Meeting at the trailhead at 930am
