I hit a dog by accident today... The moron of an owner was too fucking busy paying attention to his phone, and couldn't be bothered to keep an eye on their surroundings.

On a happier note though, bush whacking was done and more paths were discovered. Yay.

I was wondering how that went. Even if I didn't have to work on my house, my car crapped out on my yesterday. Everything was conspiring against me for this weekend.

Went riding with my man friends sponsored race team last night, because he said it would be, "easy." That was a lie, but only a tiny one. Ended up having a pretty good time, including getting tossed over the handle bars. I don't know that I will be riding with this group again any time soon if last night was their definition of "fun", but I'm definitely not going to stop either.

Time-lapse of yesterday's ride. Went from Queens to Brooklyn to Manhattan and finished up back in Queens.

Did more bush whacking yesterday and started to get super frustrated. About 90% of the paths I wandered down would start looking like this:

But would end up in bodies of water like this:

I think I ended up encountering a beaver dam at some point, because I noticed some giant hoof marks, so ended up gtfo-ing out of there as fast as possible. I'm pretty bummed about last night's bike ride, but whatever.
