Tree Top Adventures

I just went to this thing called the "Tree Top Adventures" at Camel Back Mountain in the Poconos. I can't wait to go back! It is a huge obstacle course in the trees. You do zip-lines, walk across shakey bridges, etc. All the while this is 10ft in the air! There are 5 "levels," and the obstacles just get harder each level. I.E. Higher, shakier, requires more physical strength, etc. It's a great place to take your family to. It's safe because you wear a harness that you attach to a "lifeline" so if you fall, you wont fall to your death =P

P.S. that isn't me, it's just a picture off their website.
I would highly recommend going their, it's a blast!

It really was! It's a good test of strength mixed with courage. The best part is that because you can't get hurt, it is a good mental challenge as well.

i went to a place like this when i was in france 2 summers ago called, aventure parc, it was pretty awesome and doing the whole course took about 4 hours with a small 30 mins lunch break. my favorite part was the tarzan swing to a cargo net that you had to then shimmy across to a beam in the trees leading to the next obstacle.

Haha, I had that same exact obstacle at Tree Top Adventures!

ooh there is a place called Tree to Tree not far from where I live that sounds like almost the exact same thing. A few of us have talked about going but wondered if it would be scary/challenging enough... sounds like we might have to try it out!

Were you guys able to get through everything your first time out? I'm wondering if its a go once kinda place or if it would be fun to go back a few times

It is physically demanding, but 9 out of 10 times it is more mental. And we definitely all want to go back! The first time through was like a p[practice run. We all got to experience it, and once we realized that it is impossible to get hurt, we all want to go back and re-try everything! We all made it through fine, we just got scared/had bad technique on a few things, so we want to go back to better our times. If you are up for a challenge, I would highly recommend doing this. Just make sure that who ever you would go with is pretty fit, and won't completely pussy out. I'm not going to lie, I froze a few times because you are very high up, and dangling from shakey logs, but it really is a blast. But yes, we all definitely want to go back, and we all made it through perfectly the first time through.
