Hey everybody, so I am starting Cross Country for the first time and I was wondering if you guys could give me any tips

i ran cross country for like 4 years only tips i have are don't quit because some workouts you think aren't possible but t hey are, your coach wouldn't give you the workout if it was impossible, also really use your arms with good form hard to explain but if you don't pump t hem correctly your wasting energy and if you correctly use your arms you save energy, also have good leg strides not short not too long and dont drag your knees keep them at a good height
