I posted earlier about buying a used Enduro Pro to start getting into mountain biking. Well, it took me longer to get it up and running after changing out the crank set and BB but I got it out on the trail for the first time on Saturday.
Here are some pics. I'm the awkwardly tall guy on a bike that's too small and badly needing other mountain biking gear...but still having fun on the dirt. Last edited by schmitty34; 07-11-2011 at 07:03 PM. |

Either get some basic cages for the pedals, or if you have the cash some locking pedals and shoes. It makes such a huge difference as far as controlling and powering the bike.
Anyways, looks like fun!

None of the guys I ride with, or many of the people at the park I ride, use cages or clip ins. Most have similar platform pedals with little metal pegs, which is what I have. I do need some shoes that have better soles for sticking to the pegs cause the shoes I was wearing were slipping all over. |
