Yep, that's mongo. For some reason a lot of people step on a board for the first time and just push that way. When I got my first skateboard (I remember, I was 10 and it was super small Alien Workshop complete, like a 7.0" "young adult" board or whatever) I somehow instantly knew I was regular footed but I never knew how to push regular. It definitely sucks pushing mongo, especially on anything but flat ground, because when you go to put your foot back on it can upset your balance a lot more.

When I get out of work, I'm going to see if I can even still do it.

It's funny because I'll go to the ends of the earth cleaning and maintaining my bearings before I'll buy new ones (like $25 for new ones) but for snowboarding, as soon as something is the least bit sketchy, I'll just buy an entire backup. Even a second snowboard.

well, paying for a new set of bearings will teach me to take better care of my stuff.

So funny, all this talk about skateboarding got me stoked... then it snowed 10" and instead of being excited for riding I'm sad I can't go skate! haha... I guess I will have to "re-focus" my priorities yet again and ride tomorrow and sunday.
