Other Boards...

I was wondering what other boards you guys ride in the summer or when there is no snow. I have a 6,2 ripcurl surfboard. I will post pick later. In Australia i have been surfing everyday. I Hope you guys have been enjoying the snow.

In the summer I'm more of a Yamaha TTR 250 rather than surfing or skating.

Skateboard, longboard, and BMX, which yes, I know, is not a board.

Oh yeah!? Well, my mom says I'm cool!

@Snowolf Not gonna lie that is AWEEESOME! What was your altitude in that pic? I'm inspired haha. As to the OP, I've been getting into longboarding lately around the UDistrict. The rain makes it interesting, but at least I'll still be able to carve it up during all of the months without snow.

My favorite sk8 decks ended up being the Powell & Peralta Twin Blanks that were just differentiated by measurements. (about 10 years ago) Typically made our own decks for downhilling, although did some GNARLY shit on a super flexy fiberglass Sector9 board with the trucks mounted on the tips.

Surfing used to ride 5'11"-6'2" shortboards (couple of which I made) and had a really sexy 9'8" triple stringer but it died like all the rest of em. Also ridden a few 40year old 10 foot boards with the barn door skeg, about 70lbs, fun! My buddy used to have a pic of himself dropping in double overhead surf on it, pretty sick.

Now that I'm landlocked I just climb mountains with the dog in the summer.

I just gripped a couple new decks, nothing special, just whatever my LBS had laying around in the size I wanted. One was a Plan B 7.75, I might build it into another complete.

I want to try wakeboarding this summer, but I'm probably just going to be on my cheapo Sector9 and my skateboards.
