maybe its just what you're used to. I'm 6'4 and 200, so built a little lighter, so ya. lol

I have a 30-06, which is a beaut savage 110, and a little savage 17hmr for plinking. Thats a nice little gun. I also shoot clays with 12ga pump

i think the beer gut is what kills me. i have a model 700 Remington favorite gun. but my cause of hunting most of mine are shotguns how you like the savage my buddy has one keeps trying to get me to get one

they should ban every other type. nuff said. The savage has to be the best gun out there. A friend of mine has a savage mark II .22 bolt action, with the bull barrel, and that will shoot cloverleafs at 75 yards. I wouldn't believe it had I not seen it with my own eyes

ill have to check that .22 out sounds like a nice small game gun. i need a new since i sold my old one to get a new compund.

If you do, make sure you try the federal gold ammunition. It seems to like those the best. And that is only slightly more expensive that your average bulk ammo

ive been thinking about making my own ammo my neighbor has all the stuff to do it and it seems to be way cheaper.

not for rimfire. reloading centerfire is worth it, rimfire is pennies per shot, and unless your time is worth a dollar an hour, its not going to be cost effective

i guess your right on that the shit that i get tired of paying for is the slugs for my shotguns other than skeet i have to use slugs at the ranges.

My non-winter stuff is sailing, windsurfing, and SCUBA diving. I keep meaning to try kite surfing and wake boarding also. Really, sailing and snowboarding are my two biggest addictions though.
