Plinkers?

Lookin' for a 22LR revolver. Trying to get the wife and kid more comfortable with a handgun. Every time we go shootin', the boy says he wants to.......then he bails after he watches for a bit. He'll shoot the 10/22 'til the barrels hot. Watcha got?

I want to get a 22LR Sig Mosquito. I had a Sig P226 .40 S&W and loved it, but it cost too much to shoot. The trouble with Alberta is every indoor range charges $50 a day or so, or you're paying $400-$1200 a year for membership. Canadian laws make it so we can't just go out in the bush and shoot handguns, only long guns.

Checkout armslist.com if you haven't yet. It's like the craigslist of guns; good resource if you don't mind getting a used gun. Not a bad place to score some cheap ammo either.

I love my Ruger Mark II. Lots of fun, reliable, and not expensive.

armslist is great, so is the SIG. might check out the keltechs for a cheaper gun. the ruger is a good tip too..

i know you said you wanted a pistol, but keep in mind that an AR15 shoots .22LR, all you need is a bolt kit. if you already have an AR or wanted to justify one, being able to shoot .22 out of it whenever you want is a great reason. that's my .22

Less recoil and cheap ammo are the main reasons. Anyone have a newer SP101?

my bad, i just realized you said revolver. i have no idea on that front....

but, .22lr out of an AR15 - much cheaper than .223/5.56, and zero recoil. feels like a cap gun.

Yes. .22LR is cheaper.

IF you can find it.

Unfortunately every place seems always sold out, and when they restock, it is with one 50rd box.

I have 425 rds of .22LR left, and I am almost afraid to shoot it.

13/14 days
60/75

14/15 days
let's not talk about it
