for me (a hippie at heart) Planet Earth is quite an emotional piece.
the diversity and beauty of this world, in contrast to the destructive nature of humankind, never ceases to profoundly disappoint me. personally, i blame religion for suggesting that this is temporary and thus onconsequential, before even greater things in the 'after life' are realised. i mean really, how can you perceive of ever constructing concrete slab on anything let alone dropping a bomb!? another credit worthy thing about the BBC production offices.... when i saw Blue Planet (the mutt's nutts for a Marine Biologist) they drew some conclusions on shark behaviour that i thought somewhat presumptive. i e-mailed them. within 2 weeks they responded with a well thought out and personalised e-mail of their own, complete with links and reference. now that, is praise worthy!

so im just finishing up my sophomore year of high school.. i had 7 classes, well this upcoming year (junior year) i have 4 classes. I want to see if i can fit both my junior and senior years of highschool into this one year. plus due to a screwup at the school i took chemistry during my sophomore year instead of taking biology, so instead of chem i have biology this year. yay for an easy year of school! plus i'm glad chemistry is over.

it suggests that sharks tried to catch fish even tho they knew it unlikely that their efforts would produce an energetic gain (ie success), because it would be only a matter of time (thru probability) that they would.
ie. they were co-operating in other words, not only could they perceive a consequence to their actions but also those of fellow sharks. whereas i would suggest that a shark simply sees a fish and tries to eat it and would try to do this before any other bugger got it first. the end. they claim co-operation. i maintain selfishness. m'kay?

I slept in until 1pm today, through 3 alarms and 4 phone calls. I hate sleeping in until past 10... I feel like I waste so much of the day, but oh well. I'll get out and enjoy the rest of my day while I can.
Good luck at the RV show Carm, and have a great day everyone!
