Favorite Whiskey?

As an off-shoot to the great "Beer...what do you drink?" thread, I'm curious what everyone's favorite whiskey is. Always looking to expand my collection. For general bar consumption, my favorite is Jack Daniel's. At home, it's Angel's Envy or Angel's Envy Rye. Not much into Scotch just yet, although I know there are some really great ones out there....

I'll throw some shout outs to a couple of Colorado whiskeys...

Quite possibly the best bourbon I've ever had. Seriously, it's fucking GOOD.

Very, very good for the price point. Tough to damn beat at the price point. Definitely kicks the shit out of the next two I'm going to post up.

Now, I gotta dish out a little haterade on a couple of others. Not that they're bad necessarily, just nowhere near worthy of their premium price points. I'd put both on par with Jim Beam.

Breckenridge isn't bad. I think it's a little hot considering it's only 86 proof. Haven't had any of the others, although Stranahan's used to be available here in Massachusetts for a short time. Love that there are so many local whiskies out there, even if they aren't that good. I'll have to keep those first two in mind if I make it to out to CO.

+1 on the Breckenridge whiskey. Love that stuff. And @ $36 a bottle, the price isn't too bad.

I've tried as many as I can get my hands on or afford. My favorites are the higher end Canadian or Irish Whiskeys. I'm always into trying new things.

But my weekend warrior drink of choice is Crown!

Yeah, it's not bad by any means, but definitely try Fireside. IMO, it's better and at least $10 cheaper.
