i've never had that much of a problem to even care or consider putting any type of screen in any of my glass pipes. i try to keep the bowl piece wiped clean & not all resignated, but the only time anyone ever really sucks anything all the way through is when they are either too eager, or the pipe has just had a thorough cleaning.
