Good Morning well not really good the only good morning results in getting up and getting on a mountain. Well maybe there are a couple other ways to have a good morning....

Good morning my friend! well, we are getting some serious snow at mt. Hood Meadows this week. The national Weather Service has issued their first winter storm watch of the season and it`s only October! The La Nina building is the strongest since the epic winter of 2000 so Mt. Hood may set snow records if the weather patterns stay the way they are setting up. The stuff brewing out in the Gulf of Alaska is looking really good so far. You get your ass to Canada my friend and if I have to sneak you into Bush-land behind the iron curtain in my trunk, you can ride Mt. Hood with me till the Gestapo turns up and we`ll sneak you back to Canadian freedom!

Hope this helps brighten your day!

it is of little surprise, but really my season is still 2 or 3 months from even looking like it might begin.

however, with baby's first Xmas (no not mine) looking likely to undermine my ambition of going to Nippon, i will be afforded much emotional black mail to facilitate several weekend trips to places closer to home.

and so with that in mind, i am heartened by the sight of 74cm having fallen in the last 7 days.... i cannot imbed images so please click

what's the deal, paolo? your greyness has spread this way!

or maybe that AM/PM intercontinental session created some kind of worm hole in the space time continuum.
