was that foto taken in your bed room? get back in yer pen!
the best way of finding a good driller... well the way that worked for me.... was to find a pretty upstanding magazine and then find a featured artist that was close enuff.... that's how i found a fella called Dan Gold. he does good work. i just take in an idea for what i want, maybe if i have seen fotos or things that inspire a part of the piece, i will take that so he gets the overall picture.... i get him to do a few sketches, nothing too in depth and then i just tell em to work their magic, play to their strengths and trust them to do what they do best. it is a creative thing and i think it an error to inhibit that. altho having said that.... the last few and the next few are anatomically correct drawings of sharks i have dived with, so not much room for creativity nor colour there! but Dan will be pleased once i ask him to do in-fill with watery effects etc (just as long as there are no bubbles!) (incidentally, he made his first gun, the needle of which was a guitar string!)

my tattoos (i have 7) all mark periods in my life & it being 10+ years now since my first tat, i don't regret a single one.
that being said, i don't think someone should put too much time & thought into the tat they're thinking about getting, because the longer you wait of course you'll come up with a way of changing it...as you yourself have changed since the time of your first initial thought. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the latest of what i want to get: a terrapin (turtle) with the world on its back (the earth pictured on it's shell), standing under a jerry (garcia) cresent moon with the spiral light of venus (star). it's a grateful dead thing. and i still need to collaborate with an artist to pull it all together, but it's my latest idea. i've got lots of ideas, but not so much money
