Default Favorite NON-snowboarding sites?

We've kind of established that this is everyone's favorite snowboarding site, not that I'm surprised .

What about other topics? Where do you spend most of your browsing time when you aren't here?

I'll start. Lately I've been spending time on SFFWorld.com - Science Fiction and Fantasy World which is a Sci-fi and fantasy site. Obviously off-season stuff...

....something tells me there's soon to be a plethora of Porn links posted here! (...not sure you really thought this one thru D!)

Actually, the only other sites I spend a lot of time on are nature photography sites. Outdoor Photographer's online mag, And there are a few really good Nature Photog Forums as well. (...although it's been a while since I was an active participant on them, They have lots of good info & I still like to "lurk" them.) I'll get the links and post 'em up here later!

Mostly forums for me. Forums for my car, my collector car and my sons car.

I'm also into haunted houses and fabricating props for haunted houses. So I've been on many Halloween forums for the last 20 years or so.

I guess I like the online community of ppl sharing hobbies over general websites.

Here are those links to the Nature Photography Forums. Some absolutely outstanding images to be seen from their members. Just awesome.

If you are into wildlife, scenic, nature photography of any sort? Definitely worth a look.

Looking at my most visited sites, it seems my favourite non-snowboard/non-self owned sites are all business/marketing/investment blogs.

Not surprising though since I'm a business/marketing nerd when I'm not doing things snowboard related... although there was one exception on my list.

My favourites are:

Socialtriggers.com - Probably the best business and marketing psychology blog for understanding why customers behave certain ways and what causes people to buy things

Iwillteachyoutoberich.com - Investment and personal finance blog (plus the guy who runs it is a very smart marketer so I just like analysing his marketing funnels and seeing how he converts visitors to buyers).

MarieForleo.com - General online business tips that honestly aren't super useful for more experienced marketers, but I like to study her marketing processes because she's one of the best examples of amazing personal branding in marketing, while also knowing how to leverage online video correctly.

reddit/r/leagueoflegends - Reddit for League of Legends, the most played video game in the world. I don't even have time to play it, but I like to watch it and keep up to date with it since I'm a video game nerd at heart. Plus everything I know about marketing and trends tells me that video games will become as big as sports like Basketball or Baseball in the next 10-20 years and I'd love to get involved with that somehow.

Mostly photography stuff for me, I think 500px probably has the highest standard of photographs of any sharing site out there: Ben Taylor | 500px

I also spend a bit of time on the magic lantern forum - they make after market firmware for Canon cameras which unlocks so much more stuff that should just be there for use in the first place. Magic Lantern | Home

Also, I blog (although I've been really slack for a few months) which is here: methodically muddled | tall tales and short stories of a purposefully disorganised trip abroad

Same - spend the bulk of my non-snowboarding time online researching trips / travel related stuff. Daydreaming is a good way to get through the work day
