Probably not too many in the same boat as me, but I just started listening to the band Paramore and I like their stuff. They have some pretty catchy songs.

Unfortunately, haven't been able to make it to any concerts yet :/

I too am a metalhead. I just caught the Acacia Strain on Friday down in Fl. It was sick. Horror movies are where it's at although, I haven't seen a decent one in a minute. I like the classics too like Phantasm and Hellraiser but the GF isn't about that life too much haha

that's the co-headling tour with Emmure you're talking about right? i haven't gone to any shows since the mayhem fest this last summer because all the shows that come near me are usually at NYC and i hate going to NYC for shows. i just saw this movie called Mr. Jones a little while ago and it was pretty good. the premise was really cool but i didn't care for the ending that much. going back through the last couple years: The Conjuring was awesome. Sinister was awesome. the Evil Dead remake was awesome. World War Z was pretty cool. i saw the new Godzilla over the summer and it was ok. it was more like the original godzilla movies with improved effects.

Nah actually this was a small album release tour they did with The Plot in You anyone who went got a copy of the album. Do you live in Ny if so my gf is from just outside the city in Wappingers Falls. Sinister was sick so was the Conjuring. The last decent horror movies ive seen were Devils Pass and Frankensteins Monsters or something

nah, i live in northern new jersey (sussex county). i just don't like going to nyc for shows because i refuse to drive there and the last buses and trains out of the city leave around 11 pm so i'm forced to leave a show early to catch the last bus or train. i went there back in 2011 for an Arch Enemy (they were headling) and DevilDriver show and had to leave half way through Arch Enemy's set to catch the last bus. we got some decent venues here in jersey but lately not many tours have been stopping here. i don't know why.

and do you mean Frankenstein's Army? that movie was pretty cool.

I liked that one, too.. a lot.

Another movie I liked: the original David Lynch version of DUNE.

As for TV, I don't currently own one, but have seen some clips of Game of Thrones on Youtube and I am hooked..

Edit: re-watched DUNE extended version the other night and it seems to not live up to my memory of it..
Also, getting disillusioned with Game of Thrones as well....
