Board got here last night. I'd have taken it out for a spin, but given how much it's rained in the Northeast lately, a surfboard would be more appropriate.

At any rate, I'm going to give it the old college effort this weekend.

I'll post how things went if the hospital I get taken to has wireless access.

I'm curious to know how it went myself , After one year of riding I haven't taken any real bad spills and that's with even charging some pretty steep hills. I took one gnarly ass fall but other than that I've been tip top on this board.

I considered freeboarding, but Im a carver at heart. and I enjoy a good learning curve, so I got an Original Skateboards apex 37, its AMAZING. the carving is so incredibly smooth, and with some Lime zigs I can slip out the wheels around corners, or if I get enough speed throw a frontside revert, some manueals and working on some flip tricks

Update: Can reliably link turns. Working on skid control. This thing has potential.

Borrowed a freebord once... but my college campus is almost completely flat, which it sucked on. Got a friend to play liftie, and shuttle me up some big hills on the other side of the city, and that was a lot of fun.... but for everyday, not that great.
