And as an aside, and a mini update to yesterdays post about the car guy, well, it looks like I'm not allowed to be underwhelmed by pictures of three pedals, and an engine bay cover that says, "Supercharged" on it. Oh well.
I realize nobody gives 2 fucks about Indiana resorts but we have had the same shit going on here. We opened early for us but then closed because of high temps and rain and now today it is closed because of high winds and cold temps.
I'm pretty sure 99% of the people around here would die in cold weather. It is -5F now and you would think it is 0 Kelvin the way things have closed. School closed, resort closed, roads closed. Ridiculous. I need to move.

Today's royal hate comes from the hackers that fucked up my site. It's oh so much fun fixing this shit or better yet paying someone to fix it, then to realize it's still not 100% completely fixed and spending more time fixing it. Thanks to Dave Z on here for the help though.

In sask we have crazy fluctuations too. Extremely low temps, yesterday was -61F, and then it warms up to around 20F in a couple of days. It would be awful for ice and rain if it wasn't such a cold climate an ever got above freezing. Schools and roads closing in -5 is kinda funny.

Today I hate my fooked landing on Saturday that I landed on my ribs. So much that this is the third thread I mentioned it in :/... Now I hate that I will have to take at least a few weeks off just to be sure I didn't royally mess myself up and heal up before Stowe in February

This isn't too bad in comparisson to what others are saying when they had rib injuries. If I actually fracture or broke a rib, I don't think I'd be as mobile with no pain. I only feel it when I cough or move extremely in a certain way (like twisting my upper body to stretch). I'm just playing it safe for the next few weeks and seeing where it goes.. Just crossing my fingers that my Stowe trip isn't fooked.

I'm no dr but that sounds like a bruised rib to me. Thinking you'll be good in a few weeks.

Thats what I'm thinking too.... It just sucked it happened on a day with pretty good conditions for the Ice Coast.. Its rare I get days like this past weekend and it was screwed on the 3rd run lol.... I just keep reminding myself that the Feb trip is more important...

So is the tailbone. Banana-peeled at a roller disco a few years ago and landed on right on my tailbone. Felt like it shattered but I think it was just bruised. it still hurts occasionally though.
