OK, so my season came to an abrupt end on Sunday when I completely fucked up the jump, bailed in the air and slammed my entire right side into the ground. I was able to get off the mountain on my own but realized pretty quickly that things weren't right. Long story short - a broken rib, a bruised kidney, maybe mild concussion (they're not sure).

It sucks.

Hope your recovery is swift and complete!

Is it just me? Or are we getting an inordinate number of members getting above average severe injuries in the last week or two? Is it EOS fever or something as spring approaches? I know the last two seasons, I wait until late to start trying some new things. (...my logic was, I didn't want to push too hard too early in the season lest I end my season early!).

Plus, absent deep fresh? Soft Spring mashed taters, is a lot softer to fall on!

To all who are recently biffed and banged up,.. I wish you all a speedy recovery and safe remainder of the season!

Chomps, I don't know if recent spike in the number of injuries amongst forum members is out of the ordinary or just a normal statistical occurrence. Maybe we just simply didn't sacrifice enough virgins.
