And Im hoping your son wasn't in the car, and if he was, he is ok too.

Sooooooooooo, hear this...

I go to Utah this past week, woo hoo right, THERE WAS MORE SNOW HERE ON THE EAST COAST THEN IN UTAH!!! WTF!!!! I was there the same time last year and it was dummpppping to the point it was fresh tracks every run.

So this douchebag that I went with thought he was mr know it all. So were riding and trying to cut over to the car cause it was getting to be close to closing time. So I am following all of them and I see them cut under the ropes...Im like WTF? But he had a map so I was like alrrriiight. Well turns out that not only did we ride about 3 miles into the backcountry and I almost broke my face into 2 halves, but he turns around and says ummm guys actually i dont think this leads anywhere. MY FAULT for following him, but he swore up down left and right that was the way to go. And I didnt wanna lose the crew so I followed.

Next thing you know...were hiking up a steep drop in about 3 feet of fresh powder. I look up, and I see all the lifts have now stopped. I look back to see how far we got...about 50 feet in 45 minutes! This kid that got us lost is the only one who had a phone and he had no service. But then my genius BF (seriously, not sarcastically) remembered that you could call 911 without any service. So then we did and had to have ski patrol come get us. If we would have hiked up, by the time we would have got to the top it would have been pitch black.

They finally came and got us, and had to put the lift back on just for us cause going back up was the only way to get all the way back down. We were riding in fog so bad the visibility was about 4 feet in front of you. My goggles froze over so I couldn't even put them on. By the time we got to the bottom it was about to be dark and it was a little past 5:00!!!

Crazy day...definitely a crazy trip, but overall it was fun as hell. The snowmobile ride back up was actually awesome lol. Even though it wasnt insane powder conditions, it was still a crazy ass amazing trip

Haha, I heard about this story on Thursday night. I suppose that is a justifiable reason to miss Sue! Did you get lost in the Basin or in the Gad Valley?

Holy shit NY! That's craaaazy! i'm glad you guys made it down safely and good thing you weren't by yourself. That is some gnarly shit! I'm sure it was not funny at all then, but now makes for an amazing story!!

Luckily, I had already dropped my boy off at school, it was just me in the car. It will be 30 days to get her back . I love that car, it was my 30th birthday present to myself, after years of hard work and driving whatever cars, I wanted to finally treat myself to something nice that would also be sturdy, super reliable in weather conditions and just fucking sexy!

Wow! That blows! At least Texas has.......ummmm.....big hats? But seriously, you'd be short flight to CO making it doable for weekend trips.

Specifically at what percentage unemployment should everyone who is employed stop complaining and what exactly is the threshold if not a 1500 mile move?

there are a few reasons i have issues with this. i hate texas. texas is flat (for the most part). its hot and fucking humid (i have been there, dont tell me its a "dry heat", its not). my wife has a contract with work so its not like i'm moving my family (i will get paid flights home once a month). yes i realize it could be worse, i could be out of a job but come on.
