ALL insurance companies are fucking EVIL. They are just pimps. They don't do anything, they don't provide anything. they just stand in the fucking middle telling either party how to exchange money and for what services, and how much to charge for those services...then pretend we should all be grateful. Meanwhile, we pay out of our asses for a false sense of security, and they have an entire department dedicated to just how to use legalese to fuck us all.
Uh, no. I suppose you've never been involved in an accident that didn't involve another party, say an animal, or something went haywire on your vehicle causing you to crash, or weather conditions having you slip and slide to lose control and total your vehicle, so forth? Even in a said accident involving another party, the insurance is there to cover your ass so you have coverage if at fault to not get your ass sued as well as coverage in case the other is uninsured so you do get protection from your said insurer to pay for whatever the related bills are.
Think how much you pay by the time you're done for a good vehicle and how nice it is to be covered should such a scenario happen out of your control where you only would pay 500-2k (depending on your deductible) for something that easily costs 20-40k. Or on a smaller level covering parts from an accident that again, didn't involve someone else and was your fault because let's be honest, shit happens.
They could set it up to where if it was your fault you don't see a damn dime. Yet even if it is your fault it's covered. Most OEM parts involved in a crash (bumper, fenders, window, suspension, etc) from a dealer is going to cost a shit load. Let's look at the options; 1) No insurance = you easily pay 5k+ to get this covered by the time all is bought, installed, painted, so forth or 2) you have insurance and pay whatever your deductible is while they cover the rest.
So I guess the argument can go to the fees we pay each year for our vehicles. Sure for most after 3-5 years it could pay for a small accident and would even out if you got in one. However it would take well over 10+ years for most for a yearly payment to cover how much it would cost if you totaled your vehicle not counting medical expenses and loss of time at office if you get hurt. Even many small accidents result in injuries and the need for medical attention while your insurance covers this.
I'm guessing obviously something happened as of late to tick you off and you're just expressing your outburst frustration, but think this over a little more.
