I hate the fact that everyone at work is sick and still coming into work, and that the new temp in my department can't figure out how to use the adding machine/calculator and won't stop flirting with me every time she walks by. Seriously how the F did she get a job there, 75% of what we do is accounting, stupidity isn't attractive either!!!!

Honest to god people around her remove their headphones just to hear her dumbass questions.

"which one do I press for total?"

THE ONE THAT SAYS TOTAL ON THE KEY!!!!!!!

Taking photo's inside an office where customers account numbers, bank account numbers and social security numbers are on display isn't such a good idea for my career

We are assuming the computer skills and 10-key test that the temp took to get a job there was done by someone else, as the temp agencies that we hire with send the test via an email instead of having you do it in-house. She also can't type past maybe 20 wpm and had virtually zero experience with Excel (in an accounting environment). The whole not knowing the total key was on her first day, not a reoccurring thing. Fingers crossed that her contract will be ended soon, I want her desk, it's closer to a window.

That I'm flat broke, hopefully can make the week on what gas I have left, and have been living off of what I have left in the cupboards for the past week.
National Grid and Geico both raped my wallet the past few weeks.

Thumbs down

FUCK. I get a letter in the mail from Gunstock saying the first "employee meeting" @ my local mountain isn't even until Nov 21st last year we didnt even open till almost chrismas and my job just cut me back on hours 8-15 a week. How the fuck am I going to live off of that for a month and a half!? All I want is for it to snow and for Gunstock to get off their lazy asses and start making some damn trails.

Then I get invited to a house party for Holloween and park out on the road opposite of their driveway.. on my way home I hear some bizarre shit coming from my back wheel and so I pull over and go to have a look and turns out some fucking dumb drunk fuck backed into my drivers side which rammed the back fendor in. No one at the party fessed up and I couldn't file a report because I moved the car from the scene. Stupid cops. I have a $500 deductible but I already have to set up a timing belt replacement which is also going to cost a shit ton.. Now my tiburon looks like fucking shit and I dont have money to just throw away into it.

This happens he night before I have to drive here to CT and now I'm up at 1:45am when I'm suppose to be driving three and a half hours home in 2 hours to make my 8am four hour fucking piece of shit shift. SERIOUSLY? 4 hours. WTF. I'm half tempted to call out sick and spend more time with my family but then again I NEED what scraps of pay they' give me FUCK.

To legit to quit.

Thumbs up

alright that did make me feel slightly better...
but since I'm more of an optimist... On the brighter side. I got to watch my cousin get slammed in the face with birthday cake. I did get Day 1 in for the season last weekend. At least I own a vehicle that gets me from point A to point B reliably. and to top it off I have a HUGE reference that will help me land a job at Yellowstone National Park waitressing for next summer! Which will hopefully lead to my next seasonal job at a decent mountain there after. YAY I can't fucking wait!

Now THAT makes me feel BETTER!

To legit to quit.
