Jeffrey - I cant even complain after that.
But TODAY I hate being homesick, missing my family on the East Coast during the holidays, and literally having cabin fever living in my little cabin alone in bumfuck Alaska when it's -30 outside, coming down with a cold, and knowing my 3 day weekend will likely be too cold for lifts to be open on the flippin bunny hills known as Fairbanks... wishing I could take a trip to Alyeska this weekend. It BLOWS.

Hate people stopping at the top of a steep slope. Hate it even worse when they stop below the lip (as I love to hit those lips!)...
Hate the fact that I can get time off work whenever to board, but my girlfriend loses pay so it'll be mostly weekend riding this year ARGH!!! Oh and my biggest hate of all. HATE MY MOVING COMPANY FOR BREAKING MY SNOWBOARD AND TRYING TO DENY IT! If there were ever a cause to go postal, this is it! Time to contact the chief firearms officer and have him hold all my guns until it's settled...

No one is exactly sure, he was on drunk walk about, couple miles from his house. Some of us have speculated that he jumped. Herm had several major back surgeries over the past couple years, and spent a lot of that time bed ridden. Between that, all the prescription pain killers and booze he was loosing his mind. Kind of hard to tell

This is the first real snowfall in my area this season, and my vehicle decided yesterday to f*ck with me.
![]() I am trying to talk myself out of power shifting and double clutching an hour plus (one way) on snowy interstates to get to my local hill. It was sketchy enough having to do that yesterday to work and back (45 mins each way, dry back roads). It won't shift into 1st or reverse without really forcing it, so finding a parking spot I can gun it out of in 2nd is a long shot at the resort. My shop is swamped today and I'm waiting anxiously for them to get back to me. Grr. Hoping it's nothing too serious (just that it needs clutch fluid and isn't a major problem with the slave cylinder, etc). Problem is, the reservoir cap won't come off. I would take a pair of pliers to it and add (brake) fluid and deal with a possible leak in a couple days, but I run the risk of breaking the cap. Especially since it's cold today. F*ck. Why couldn't this have happened when it was 60 effing degrees in January?! |
