Drunkard!

i have snowboarded for the better part of my life, and not once have i ever been drunk doing it. I don't even know if it is possible to snowboard drunk. Is it possible? would it be a fun time? It might just be one of these things you have to try before you die haha. Any thoughts on this?

People who snowboard drunk are fucking stupid. One of my good friends got fucked over by some dumbfuck who was skiing while drunk. I don't take kindly to stuff like that.

life IS good.

I don't see anything wrong with having a few wobbly pops over the course of the day. But being absolutely shitty while riding is definitely no good.

dont they take that shit real serious at most resorts? Like if ski patrol for some odd reason finds out your wasted riding they can yank your pass?! I mean if they can take your pass for going to fast I'm sure they will take it for boozing and riding, but yet most places have bars at the top of the mountains, weird.

I have a nice fat chip in the edge of my fav board from some hamster humping assjack who slammed into me while drunk. The best part was where he got up, pulled another beer from his pack and chugged it, then left the can on the run.

Some people are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.

I have a word limit on my cynicism

In my view its the same thing as drink driving, I reckon you should be able to prosecute people in the same way aswell.

Not only is it dumb... its hard. And the mroe you do it, the worse you feel. I'll admit I had my one run at it, but it was enough to learn it wasn't too smart.
Now... there are other alternatives to snowboarding in a non-sober state that aren't nearly as dangerous.

Yeah, it knocks your balance off when you get hammered. A few beers at lunch is okay but for some people a few beers is too many. Remember that at high altitudes your alcohol tolerance is not what it normally is and you can get pretty hosed off 6 beers (Canadian beers for the record). I am a poster child for bad judgement calls so I've had a few drinks mid-mountain, followed it up with a fat joint, went to the top of Mount Standish in Banff and could'nt even fathom hitting the black diamond I wanted to go down. Instead I chilled out for an hour on the summit catching a few rays for a tan and then rode my sorry ass down my original intended run. I should have paid more attention to the Australian server's facial expressions when I was in the bar..."Wha'? Shit yer really puttin' em down, mate!". Yeah.....you know it's bad when you alarm Aussies with beer drinking.

So remember kids....STAY SOBER!!! lol
