greet the day with a smile

sunrise, 6:30am, 11-29-07, sterling, va

it could always be worse. despite my lack of employment (and money), i saw a homeless lady yesterday wearing a skirt & truckin' with all her gear on her back. so i turned my car around & pulled up next to her and asked if she needed a pair of pants. she replied with, "no, fuck off".

so yeah, despite how grim your day may seem, know there is always someone else out there who is crazier than you. and never be discouraged to lend a helping hand, even when the response is "fuck off".

i heard on the news last night that "winter" is on its way here in the mid atlantic. cant wait!

got my paycheck today for the two days i worked (before getting fired), so now i'm $160 richer than i was yesterday, which means i have $160 to my name! woohoo!

and i got a call for a job i applied to...leasing apartments, just like the one i got fired from. this time i'm not going to smoke right before the test though

so i just might get to go snowboarding this season afterall

i'd like to thank the crazy homeless lady for pulling me out of my funk, which is why i think things started looking up for me today. when you're down, your whole world is down. when you start looking at things with a different light, your whole world shines. it's true.

ps...you guys are the greatest group of make-believe real online personality friends a girl could ever hope for
