Last year was 4th in the finals, was a good day

this weather. backpacking, climbing and biking is almost here. and with that means the planning for the second annual mountain biking shit show. wooohooo

That I'm eating chocolate ice cream and just discovered how much I like Death Cab for Cutie and that I'm planning a trip to Bamboozle and I have the house to myself this weekend and I might go boarding tomorrow in a foot of pow.

Today I love seeing the stoke in new riders learning something new! Was riding mellow today because it was so icy and was talking to a kid on the lift about the first jump in the smaller park. He never hit a park-style jump before. Was able to talk him into stopping the speed checks, bending the knees more and he put it right on the sweet spot of the landing. Dude was grinning ear to ear.
